Исследовались разные русские и белорусские популяции а также сводные данные по украинцам Киева, Львова и Алчевска по полиморфизму маркера аутосомного маркера D1S80 а также маркеров 3'ApoB, DM, DRPLA, and SCA1. Кое-чего оттуда: A high degree of similarity was found in the allele profiles of the Eastern Slavonic populations. The most frequent allele in these samples (except those from Oshevensk and Belaia Sluda) was allele 24 (frequencies ranged from 24% to 41%), followed by allele 18 (20%–31%). An inversion in the magnitudes of the two most frequent alleles was found both in Russians of the Arkhangelsk region (Oshevensk and Belaia Sluda) and in Asians, as well as in the Uralic populations (excluding Udmurts), in whom the frequencies of alleles 24 and 18 were the same... Comparisons of the allele distributions were made using an RC test (Miller 1997) for each pair of populations studied (Table III). The test for heterogeneity of the Eastern Slavonic populations revealed a high degree of similarity (p>0.01) for most of the populations. The Finno-Ugric speaking populations showed no similarity with Eastern Slavonic populations, whereas the Northern Russian populations (Novgorod, Kholmogory, Belaia Sluda, and Oshevensk) showed similarity (at a probability level above 0.05) to the Udmurts and Komi-Permyats... А совокупно по D1S80, 30ApoB, DM, DRPLA, and SCA1 украинцам очень близки белорусы Бобруйска, разные белорусские популяции довольно кучно расположены в "индо-европейском" овале, тогда как русские весьма гетерогенны, причем русские Курска и Новгорода ближе к центру - где украинцы и белорусские популяции, а прочие русские наиболее удалены друг от друга, причем северные: на одном конце овала - костромичи, на другом - жители Ошевенска (к ним тяготеют жители Холмогор). Еще оттуда же: Studies of Y-chromosomal and mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) variation data indicate that northern and eastern Russian populations are the result of admixtures between Slavonic tribes and pre-Slavonic populations of Eastern Europe (Belyaeva et al. 2003; Malyarchuk 2004; Malyarchuk et al. 2004; Khrunin et al. 2005). These facts may explain the appearance of two distinct Arkhangelsk populations (Oshevensk and Belaia Sluda groups) among the Finno-Ugric-speaking populations in the MDS pattern of D1S80 variability.Supported by a statistical test for heterogeneity between populations, we conclude that the other Eastern Slavonic populations are closely related. At the same time, a multidimensional statistical treatment of the D1S80 variability data allows us to distinguish regional and local populations, e.g. between northern and other Russian populations. Об угро-финнах: The allele frequency profiles of populations of the Uralic linguistic family (Finno-Ugric linguistic group) also distinguished them from other populations. Analysis of mtDNA polymorphisms in the Finno-Ugric populations from the Volga–Ural region and north-west Siberia (Sajantila et al. 1995; Bermisheva et al. 2001, 2002; Derbeneva et al. 2002) showed that the gene pools of these populations contain a differentially expressed Asian component. A detailed study of mtDNA sequence polymorphisms supports the admixture theory of the origins of the Uralic people, which implies their former European origin and subsequent combination with and assimilation of peoples arriving from Asia (Malyarchuk 2004). О проверенных в статье тюрко-монголах: The MDS analysis of genetic distances from five HVR loci revealed a pattern of genetic interrelations similar to those derived from MDS analysis of D1S80 variability. Again, an affinity between the Kalmyks and Yakuts, and the similarity of Indo-European (Eastern Slavonic) populations has been demonstrated. The populations belonging to the Altaic linguistic family (Kalmyks and Yakuts, but not Bashkirs) are genetically distant from the other populations. Considering the first dimension of the MDS, the Bashkirs deviate from the other Altaic linguistic family populations, and are most closely related to other ethnic groups inhabiting the Ural region, namely the Komi. As with the MDS analysis of D1S80 data, the Komis and Bashkirs, who are thought to be genetically intermediate between Europeans and Asians, are situated between the European and Asian clusters on the plot, near the European populations. Еще кое-что: Among Eastern Slavonic populations, which are situated together on the plot, Russians show the greatest heterogeneity, and Northern Russians occur at a distance from the European cluster core. Ну, собственно о гетерогенности русских я и так говорил выше. Теперь интересно было бы сравнить все эти совокупные данные по полиморфизму этих пяти аутосомных локусов с населением Центральной и Западной Европы. А то по 3'apoB тоже вначале казалось, что восточнославянские популяции так уж страшно близки друг другу, а потом, когда сравнили с населением остальной Европы, оказалось, что украинцам ближе вcего австрийцы с немцами, а русским - французы с албанцами.

Из этнических русских земель за пределами характерной для европейцев зоны находится, пожалуй, все.
